The Tree Climbing Championship Is Looking For YOU! 

The TCC is a gathering of the top tree workers in New York who put their tree climbing skills and abilities to the test in a series of competitive events.  Bring family and friends, and join NYSA on Saturday, June 8th (rain date of June 9th) at Planting Fields Arboretum State Park in Oyster Bay, NY.  Click here to download the registration form.

Please be advised there is an $8.00 parking fee at the entrance of the Arboretum for spectators. This fee is waived for competitors and volunteers.

The winner will be named New York State Champion and will represent our state at the ISA International Tree Climbing Championship: August 3-4, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Volunteers are needed for the following: 

• Groundmen/Pruners for setup/pruning on Thursday, 6/6 and/or Friday, 6/7 before event
• Timers
• Techs
• Judges

ISA credits are available for competitors, judges and techs.

Increase Your Visibility and Products! 

The Competition encourages a positive image of our profession to the general public and promotes a higher caliber of skilled tree workers. Your support is needed to provide basic competition expenses for all participants. These expenses include, but are not limited to: refreshments, t-shirts, signs, printing and mailing, supplies, equipment and contestant prizes. Donations of tree care related equipment will be used as prizes and complimentary gifts for competitors.

Four levels of defined sponsorship are available:

• Master Sponsor (donation of cash or gifts of $500 or more)
• Gold Leaf Sponsor (donation of cash or gifts $250)
• Event Sponsor (donation of cash or gifts $150)
• Supporting Friend (donation of cash or gifts under $150)

All sponsors will be listed on all electronic communications and on the NYSA website. Sponsors who donate $150 or more will have their name displayed at one or more of the five Tree Climbing Championship events.

Master sponsors will have their logo printed on the event t-shirt that competitors and judges will be wearing the day of the event.
